On the Farce Day of Christmas is a play written by Ken Levine, known for his work on TV shows like MAS*H, Cheers, and Frasier. The play revolves around Wendy, who, to hide her divorce from her religious mother, pays her ex-husband to pretend they are still married and spend Christmas with her family. This leads to comedic chaos and misunderstandings.
Director Jessica Burchfield is looking for 1 female mid 50-70s and 3 males 25-70’s, as well as 3 female (25-70’s) and 3 male (25-75) understudies. Please be prepared for cold reads of the script.

GARY — 25-30’s, charming, a little volatile
MOM — 50-70’s, cheerful, religious
DAD — 50-70’s, opinionated, curmudgeonly
KAREN — CAST
CHIP — 25-30’s, nice-looking, friendly
Pays $50 per show
No pay for rehearsals
Must be available for Thursday and Saturday matinees as well as Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening shows.
Matinees: 11:30 a.m. call time
Evening shows: 4:30 p.m. call time
Show runs November 8 – December 14 with one performance on Thanksgiving Day
