Frequently Asked Questions
Can I bring my young children or babies?
ABSOLUTELY NOT. Early Bird is geared for adults, and well behaved teens over the age of 13. Babies and young children can be disruptive and this policy is in place for the courtesy of all patrons and performers.
What time do doors open?
10:30 for our matinees…3:30 for our evening shows
Are reservations required?
Yes. Your reservation is not confirmed unless you receive a confirmation call or email.
I emailed for a reservation and got no response...
Check your spam / junk folder. Most emails receive a response within hours. Phone calls are answered within 24 hours.
Where do I park?
There is a parking lot in front of the theater.
I have a special diet....can you accommodate?
Usually…the special request needs to be made in advance at the time of reservation. “Show-only” is also an option for $30, reservations still required.
Are you BYOB?
No we are not. We have a full bar available.
What does the evening look like?
The salad bar begins upon arrival and you may go up at your leisure. The hot buffet begins around 11:45 for the matinees, and 4:45 for our evening shows. You will be invited up one table at a time and it usually takes an hour to cycle everyone through. The play will begin when everyone is finished with dessert.
How long do shows last?
Most performances are 2ish hours, and that includes a 15 minute intermission. The matinee concludes around 3pm, the evening show concludes around 8.
Is Early Bird handicapped accessible?
Yes, we are one level with no steps. Let us know when you make the reservation, a seat on an aisle may be more comfortable.
Can I pick my seat?
Early Bird is an intimate venue and every seat is a good seat. If you have a special request, the front for example or an aisle it helps if you have some flexibility in your dates and times. Everyone who books gets the best available seat at that time. Tables seat 8, so if you are a smaller party it is likely that you will be seated with others.
Do you offer discounts?
We offer one complimentary ticket per 20 paid, and your bus driver is our guest.
I've made a reservation and some members of my party are unable to attend...
Please leave a message or send an email to let us know. Most performances have a wait list.
Is there a dress code?
Not really. Most men wear pants, as opposed to shorts, but this is Florida and we will not turn anyone away.
Cost?
$50 each which includes tax, cash or check only, no credit cards. Everyone pays at the door. You may make your check payable to “Early Bird”. At the bar, they accept credit and debit cards. You may leave your gratuity in the basket on your table.
